We learned about Beyond Designs NY from a family member who hired them to renovate their first floor and basement. We were very impressed with their work so we immediately called for a consultation. Kevin came to our home and spent a significant amount of time planning and sketching out ideas to renovate our kitchen, living room and spare room. He showed us many photos of his previous jobs and even provided a list of people to call in case we wanted to see the work he did at their houses. The crew that worked on the remodeling project was professional and worked quickly. If there was any problem they took care of it. They built a custom made island and accent wall that receive many compliments. Our home looks and feels totally different. We will definitely be hiring Beyond Designs NY to renovate our master bathroom next!

We contacted Beyond Designs in April about renovating our kitchen. We were looking for a full remodel, and set up an appointment with Kevin who is the owner of the company. He visited our house for 2 hours, and we went over every detail about what we wanted, and he listened carefully, took notes and drew sketches. About a week later, we went to the Company office, and Kevin showed us what materials he had that we could choose from for cabinet wood and style, backsplas, quartz for countertops and other material. We set up a start date of May 8th, and were told tthat the job would take 3 to 5 weeks. Kevin and his team kept their promise as the job was completed in 4 weeks. Kevin's workers were very diligent, respectful and trustworthy. They knew exactly what they were doing, and if we needed them for any questions or help, they were very responsive and helpful. Kevin stayed involved through the entire process, and if we had any questions, he got back to us quickly. We had an old kitchen with a countertop and sink from the 1960's, and it was well past time for a full renovation. Kevin and his team made our new kitchen look beautiful and we are very pleased with the job they did. I would definitely recommend Beyond Designs for kitchen renovations as they did a great job with remodeling our kitchen.

My wife and I highly recommend Beyond Design & Remodeling for any homeowners renovation! Our initial meeting with Beyond Design & Remodeling’s Kevin Parker lasted over 2 hours. Every detail with our bathroom renovation was discussed Known problems and potential problems were addressed in detail. Solutions were laid out for my wife and I took look out and decide. Kevin listened to what we wanted in the renovation, took notes and laid it out on his plan. Other contractors were on site between a half hour to forty five minutes. Specific known issues were left off their estimates which guaranteed additional charges during the project. This wasn’t the case with Beyond Design & Remodeling. BDR’s office and showroom allowed us to pick out the material we wanted in our renovation. Serena, the office manager was great and during the renovation was in constant communication with us. Kevin meet us at Splash Works Bath and Kitchen Gallery to pick out our fixtures and hardware. Andy at Splash Works was amazing to work with. Great in assisting us and choosing the right fixtures. Kevin was driven to make sure all of the items on our wishlist were done. His communication before during and after the renovation was exceptional. The renovation was completed on the price we agreed upon even with minor issues. Completion was off by 3 days but it wasn’t a concern for us. We could not be happier with the finished project. In the end, we feel we made a new friend with Kevin and the staff at Beyond Design & Remodeling.

Project Time: 4 weeks Kevin Parker and the Beyond Designs crew were extremely helpful, courteous and professional throughout the entire renovation process. Kevin was able to understand my vision and desires for the appearance of the basement and created an awesome design and layout. He was very open and honest regarding the pricing and time-frame for completion of the project. He also kept me informed of how the project was progressing on a daily basis. He welcomed any and all questions and concerns for the project. Kevin even assisted with selecting the appliances for the basement. He also was flexible in making changes and additions to the construction and design plan without expanding the agreed upon budget. In fact as the project went on Kevin kept offering to add more items to the project such as better tiles, more closets, pipe replacement. Everything from plumbing, electrical work, window treatments, and construction materials (i.es tiles, lights, fixtures, cabinets, etc.) were covered in the budget. There were no surprise changes to the pricing and I did not have to do any shopping on my own. Kevin took the lead on having all issues addressed after consulting with me and guiding me through the process which made everything painless, seamless and efficient. Beyond Designs is a full service company completing the design to construction from A-Z which is a plus for a homeowner inexperienced with construction projects. The crew was always on time for the project and the entire project was completed within 4 weeks as promised. The demolition and construction was completed in a very organized and efficient manner. The crew was very respectful of the household, my family, and always cleaned up after themselves. The service and end result was all top notch. I was blown away by the transformation of my basement. After the project was completed, Kevin was still willing to make himself available to address any of my concerns and offer suggestions regarding home maintenance. Project Time: 2 weeks Kevin Parker's company, Beyond Designs built a new bathroom in our house. At the beginning, Kevin worked with us planning and making suggestions regarding the placement and dimensions of the various components in the bathroom. He was always available for questions and always answered my calls. The agreed upon time schedule was carefully managed by calling in more men when necessary. His crew was competent, courteous, accommodating, and trustworthy, an important factor for us as my wife and I could not be home all the time during construction. Project Time: 6 weeks I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Kevin and his staff for the magnificent job they did in renovating my condo. I had hired many contractors over the years but never to do anything this extensive. I always approached any renovation job regardless of how small with a lot of anxiety and apprehension. I am one of those people who do a lot of research first, interview 4-7 contractors, read reviews (if any) and then make my decision, cross my fingers and hope for the best. I had a huge renovation job that I needed to have done in a relatively short timespan. Every room in my condo had to be redone, and frankly, the magnitude and scope of the project were leaving me with a lot of sleepless nights. As is my mojo, I interviewed several candidates and was left feeling even more anxious. A few I had to call 2-3 times to request their estimate if they came to survey. Still, others failed even to return my call. Of the ones that did provide an estimate, the costs were all in the same money range, so it wasn't a matter of selecting the highest or lowest bidder. It was quality and vision. For all of the contractors I interviewed before Kevin, I would need to still go out to Home Depot, Lowe’s or wherever to select the materials. Frankly, I didn’t have the time to go sleeping around to design centers. Kevin has a one-stop showroom where I was able to pick out patterns, textures, color, and designs for my cabinets, flooring, tile walls and much more. What impressed my husband and me about Kevin immediately was his attention to detail, his presentation, and his confidence. Kevin has such a vast knowledge of how things should work, and his attention to detail made us feel so comfortable. He also pulled out his tablet and showed us job after job that he either just completed or was in the process of completing. Kevin drew up a rough outline of my floorplan and told us how he envisioned the outcome. He explained the work involved, how his staff would be solely dedicated to my job, and the timeframe. He did not hesitate to share with us a listing of over 130 of his customers (references) that we could call up to review whether they were satisfied with his work. I mean who does that! What I loved was that MY project would have a dedicated team lead by a project manager that would oversee the job from day one to completion. Most other contractors are juggling 2-3 different jobs, so they start yours, walk away, come back in a few days, and that is time and money wasted. Not with Kevin and his team. Kevin has multiple teams and he dedicates a team to each project. As this is a condo development, there are very strict HOA house rules, no work on Sat/Sun/holidays. Work can only be between 9-5 Mon through Friday. I don’t live in my condo and thus was not there daily to oversee, I left my trust to Kevin and his team, and I was not disappointed. For ten weeks they came every day promptly. They worked soundlessly, and the workspace was left spotless. I have a second-floor condo unit and the unit owner on the first floor did not even know that people were working in my condo that is how quiet they were. Kevin came around a lot to inspect their work and progress and would keep me abreast of any situation that might prevent us from meeting our timeline. I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am, how much anxiety and worry Kevin took off my shoulders and if I could give Kevin 10 stars I would. You will not be disappointed. Kevin is very approachable, is very attentive, and very responsive. I was the one who many times were unreachable. There was a minor issue last week with the 3rd-floor unit owner’s apartment having some flooding problems, and I was so afraid it would cause damage to my newly renovated apartment. I called Kevin, and on a Friday night, at 4 PM he came from Brooklyn to Queens to survey our unit and ensure that all was ok and if anything developed, noted how he would handle. Project Time: 2 weeks I never really write reviews but I have to commend the job that Kevin Parker and his team did for my bathroom renovation. The assessment of the job was very smooth Kevin came in and drew out the layout design for the bathroom and gave a very accurate timeline of completion. Everything was a one stop shop down to materials and cabinets, his workers were very prompt when they arrived which was 0800 every morning and at noon took one break and went right back to work. Never had to hunt them down and was notified ahead of time. if they were not coming in on a certain day which was normally on Sundays. The level of craftsmanship was very neat and clean a very well thought out construction method, every day I seen progress in the job. I can't fail to mention that Monica did an excellent job with crossing ideas between my mother and I in terms of designs and was just great with making the pick for materials a very easy process. Project Time: 2.5 weeks A wonderful design well done. Prior to me contacting Beyond Design and Remodeling, I had various estimates to have my kitchen redone by a few contractors. I settled for Beyond Design. Kevin Parker came to my home, looked the kitchen over and offered a few ideas himself. I felt very comfortable with him. In about a month, the kitchen was under re-construction. Kevin's work crew was very prompt to work, was attentive to my needs and even did a few things that I felt was beyond their scope of work. At the end of the day, they left the site very clean, which I didn't expect because of the demolition work involved. Entire redesign was completed in less than 3 weeks. Project Time: 6 weeks We felt very comfortable having BDR perform the work in our home and were happy with the end result of our condo. The unit we purchased is old and was not maintained well by the previous owner. The unit itself has peculiar construction which signaled to us that we would need a highly competent contractor in order to solve a lot of the issues that were bound to come up. From the consult, we were already able to tell that Kevin has a great deal of experience and higher level of professionalism compared to some other contractors we spoke with. Kevin is very helpful with any types of questions regarding construction, materials, finishes, or detailing. If you purchase your own materials like we did, I recommend that you ask Kevin up front regarding your choices as he is very knowledgeable and can offer pros and cons for your selection. The materials and finishes that we left to Kevin to select were excellent and look great. BDR was also especially key because they were able to complete the job in 5 weeks to meet our desired schedule, as opposed to other contractors who quoted us 8-12 weeks. They completed demo for our unit within two days, mainly due to their manpower resources. We were especially pleased with our foreman Yin and his crew. They were extra sensitive to some of our requests and Yin made it very clear that delivery of a quality product was most important to him. Any issues that we came up with, and Yin personally took care of them. If you get this guy, you are most certainly in luck. The relatively higher up front lump sum cost for hiring BDR was worth it in our opinion because we were certain to get banged up on change orders for itemized work with other contractors. Many bells and whistles involved with the work did not come across our minds, and Kevin was able to lump all the work into the original cost. Our first home gut renovation job was a learning experience and still had ups and downs, but Kevin and his crew mitigated it a great deal. Him and his team are very. accessible and receptive, and are especially easy to reach using their text platform. We are already considering Kevin for other future renovation works, because we know quality product and a happy customer is what these guys care about.
